We don't use consumer AI tools. BorderLink AI runs on paid commercial API infrastructure governed by contractual confidentiality terms. Your data is never sold, never used to train AI models, and is shared only with the named service providers required to run the platform.
How We Guarantee Your Privacy:
THE "ZERO-TRAINING" GUARANTEE
We bypass consumer AI entirely. BorderLink AI operates on paid commercial API terms, not the free consumer products. Under those terms our AI provider is contractually prohibited from training its models on your data. You keep ownership of everything you put in and everything the AI produces for you. Your supplier negotiations and compliance work stay exclusively yours.
PURPOSE-LIMITED PROCESSING
When you upload a commercial invoice or packing list, it goes into your own encrypted document library, where you control it and can delete it at any time. For extraction, the document is sent over an encrypted connection to our AI engine, which reads it once, returns the extracted fields, and keeps nothing for training. Our provider deletes API inputs and outputs within 30 days under contract. The AI acts as a high-speed scanner, not a second filing cabinet.
CUSTOMER-LEVEL DATA ISOLATION
Your stored data is isolated at the database level. Customs templates, Brand Voice directives and supplier networks sit behind Row-Level Security on AWS-hosted infrastructure, so one customer's records cannot be read by another. When a task needs AI, only the specific fields that task requires are transmitted, never your whole account, and nothing is transmitted for the purpose of training.
